Interior Design Portfolio
Over the past 15 years, I’ve focused my interior design career on elevating the customer experience through smart design and innovation. My enthusiasm for design started while earning my degrees at Concordia College in Minnesota, and the Art Institute of Seattle. The Production Network was where I developed a love for 3D modeling, and worked as an exhibit designer. Following TPN, I went to design commercial stores for a renowned coffee company. With Starbucks, I traveled to different countries working to bring brand forward and locally relevant coffee shops to the regions. Although I’ve developed a career in design, fine arts has always been a passion of mine. I was given the opportunity to incorporate my skills as a painter and sketch artist into my work with Starbucks, where I developed the first China Artwork Program for the CAP market. I hope to continue to merge design and fine arts to create compelling spaces.
Aside from my love for art and design, I enjoy camping, reading and spending time with my husband and two dogs.
Lisa starts her design process by meticulously researching and becoming familiar with the details of the project. She asks relevant questions, listens, develops a strategy, and discusses budget and timeline.
Next, she creates the design concept and develops a Schematic Design that is dynamic, functional, and meets the overall goals of the project. Problem solving and finding the best solution for the project are a primary focus.
Developing the technical details and specifications in order to execute the design vision is next. Lisa has experience in managing drawing production and coordinating vendors and consultants.
Lastly, Lisa ensures that quality of the built space and execution of construction details are in accordance with the original design.
